DMA is the leading and first of its kind award recognition platform celebrating the very best of digital marketing and technology advancement in Kenya redefining the boundaries of creativity, innovation and outcomes.
Digital and Technology are expanding with mobile-first and smartphone biased aspects enabling one to always be connected with a consumer market made up of millions.

Digital Media Awards was a yearly hybrid event organized by Go Gaga Experiential and Social Media Week Nairobi and is hosted on a basis. The platform is a comprehensive digital marketing and technology awards event that really takes into consideration all the myriad variables that makes a successful campaign.

Digital Media Awards has 27 awards in 8 categories for agencies, brand and individuals which require submission of the previous years’ work. Entries are meticulously evaluated according to a set scoring criteria by a group of judges and, the work must have been ideated or executed by a Kenyan corporate/ individual or Kenyan agency. Entries have to be engaging and encourage dialogue with audience. Entries need to be creative, original, distinctive and innovative. The jurors consist of leading digital marketing and technology practitioners who understand the Kenyan market from a contextually relevant perspective.

“Go Beyond Paper” campaign.

The beginning of the pandemic was a particularly difficult time for everyone, and with physical contact being restricted or limited getting news and information was a challenge. And we faced that challenge with the Go Beyond Paper campaign.

Who said news can only be read on the paper? There are many avenues to still obtain relevant information and going digital is one of those ways.

The Go Beyond Paper aimed to reach those who may have been alienated before due to technology, to make the epaper more accessible and available to all.

Switching to digital represents a new hope for many and reaches out to a target audience that may have been previously excluded.
